Team Win Recovery Project has released TWRP 188.8.131.52 for the Asus Nexus 7 2013 tablet. It is a custom recovery for the tablet that is easy to use and uses a touchscreen to interact with. Thus, unlike CWM, you do not have to wrestle with volume rocker buttons to get to the right menu and setting.
The entire GUI of the TWRP is driven by XML and can be themed easily. Thus, a skinner can change the look and feel by just editing the XML file. Alright, enough talk – just get straight to the point and learn how you can download and install TWRP on Nexus 7 2013.
To install TWRP, get Goomanager from Play store. Here are the steps.
1) Install GooManager from the Play Store
2) Open GooManager and provide root permissions
3) Hit Menu (or the button with the 3 dots on your screen) and then Install OpenRecovery
